I found the following quote from Learning from the Best by Sandra Harris to be an excellent reminder to all administrators this time of year as we gear up for state testing season.
"Staff members understand that mistakes can be and will be made in an organization that fosters creativity and experimentation. Staff members also understand that mistakes are part of the growth process and, as long as those mistakes are not immoral, illegal, or unethical, there is nothing that cannot be addressed, redirected, and rectified."
